Liked our nicely furnished and reasonably large rooms in this place.

Location: the hotel was just off the minimart and city centre, and North Sumatra. It also was in the center of Berastagi.

The staff and owner are friendly and well-informed, the rooms are spacious with hot water facilities, and they provide wake-up services.

the complimentary breakfast and dinner were both included in the price. the hotel was located in a quiet and peaceful area, providing a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We particularly enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

the internet connection was incredibly spotty and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.

I had the most refreshing and invigorating swim in my own private waterfall right outside my room at Hotel Kalang Ulu. The little pond was a delightful addition, perfect for a relaxing dip. And let's not forget about the balcony hammock – it was pure bliss! I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and rejuvenating experience.
